Meet the grantee: social café “Vytaniya” – a different type of café

In the city of Drohobych in Ukraine, the social enterprise “Vytaniya” works as an ordinary cafe. For new visitors, this establishment is primarily a place where one can eat something delicious. And only then, people learn about the social mission of this enterprise – to provide food to vulnerable groups of the population. From February 24, the target audience of the cafe was also joined by temporarily displaced persons who came from the regions where the war was actively spreading.

Social café Vytaniya is one of the 13 social enterprises that received a grant through the call for the Rapid Response Grant Program for Social Enterprises by the USVF (Ukrainian Social Venture Fund), which was aimed at supporting social enterprises in wartime.

They continue to work both as an ordinary café but also providing food and activities for internally displaced people. Read the full story here.
