SILab Ukraine – together for impact!

‘Culture of social responsibility is the basis for a healthy, fair and sustainable society full of meaning, rule of law and prosperity’ – Alena Kalibaba, co-founder of SILab Ukraine.

On August 16, first in-person meeting in Kyiv of the SILab Ukraine team was held since the beginning of the war. The strategic meeting included planning of the activities, programs and projects, which will remain focused on supporting social enterprises as well as civilians during the times of war, for which everyone hopes to be ending soon. And, while up until now during the last six months it was impossible to do any mid or long-term planning, this is the first time during the war that the team planned for six months ahead. The team will continue to support their citizens and social enterprises in the times of war for as long as it is necessary.

‘We strongly believe that positive social and economic changes in our society will take place only when every Ukrainian bears personal social responsibility for their family, community and country. Nowadays, social entrepreneurship should become the basis for the reconstruction and development of Ukraine.’ said Anna Gulevska-Chernysh, leader of the team.
