On May 19-20, the international conference Impact Days will come to the Republic of Moldova for the first time. The event marks a chance for social entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers and market builders to convene and put the spotlight on Moldova’s impact ecosystem – and the people who make it happen. It will also mark the launch of Moldova’s first impact fund, to be announced at the event.

The purpose of Impact Days is to encourage collaboration between people involved in Moldova’s impact ecosystem. This includes both those who create a positive impact on the community or the environment, and those who want to make a transition to more responsible business. Guests and experts from Europe and the Eastern Partnership countries – including several Collaborate for Impact partners – will contribute to the workshops, sharing their expertise in social economy and impact business.
Workshop topics include impact investments, impact measurement, startups with impact, green economy and many more. In addition to the learning exchanges offered in the workshops, the event will offer networking opportunities and an expo of services available to local producers and impact businesses. An Impact for Breakfast session will let international stakeholders share their experiences with the community of investors, support organizations, mentors and entrepreneurs. Following the unveiling of Moldova’s first impact fund, a pitching session for social entrepreneurs and startups with impact will take place.
The event was organised by EcoVisio (Platform for the Development of Social Entrepreneurship in the Republic of Moldova, a Collaborate for Impact partner), East Europe Foundation and ADV Romania. Speakers and agenda details are available on the Facebook page.
