On July 15, first “Impact for Breakfast” was held within the EU-funded “Collaborate for Impact” program implemented by the European Venture Philanthropy Association with the main purpose on discussing the current state of the Social Entrepreneurship ecosystem in Azerbaijan, the creation of social investment funds, and increasing networking among interested parties operating in the country in this field.
Gulnara Ismailova, the Program Manager of Education HUB spoke about the current state of the Social Entrepreneurship ecosystem in Azerbaijan, problems that are being encountered as well as the best ways to solve them and examples of good practices.
During the meeting, Ewa Konczal, CEE Program Manager of the European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA) talked about the concept of Social Entrepreneurship and Impact funds started between Eastern Partnership countries and shared good practices from other European countries while Andreja Rosandic, Stakeholder Manager of the EVPA, presented the “Impact for Breakfast” concept.
Within the esteemed guests, Social Entrepreneur Gwendolyn Burchell from United Aid For Azerbaijan, who participated in the “Impact week” in Vienna within “Collaborate for Impact” program, Fidan Tofidi, Corporate Stakeholders Engagement Division Head at Pasha Bank, and Jeyhun Atayev, Head of Marketing and Stakeholders Engagement Department at Access Bank, shared their impressions and experiences.
The event was organised by Education HUB within the ‘Collaborate for Impact’ project financed by DG NEAR and was funded by PASHA Bank.
